San Francesco Al Monte Hotel Naples

We loved staying here! The hotel is located on top of a hill just outside a neighborhood with a lot of character that we enjoyed exploring. It's easy to access different parts of the city by funicular from here. Though there aren't many restaurants in the immediate area, we appreciated being in a quieter residential space. The service was great, particularly from the restaurant manager who was especially helpful. We loved the rooftop pool and sitting area, and the hotel also had a spa and fitness center. The room was beautiful and had a terrace with great views. We also appreciated the options for room service and the welcome drink.

Former monastery, helpful staff, beautiful renovation, rooftop with city view, highly recommended. Excellent hotel with stunning views, great area for sightseeing, beautiful and quirky areas, pleasant and helpful staff, large rooms with bay views, spacious bathrooms. Funicular railway nearby, best way to appreciate a fascinating city.

We loved the convenient location of this hotel, as it was very close to the funicular that took us down to the city center and along the coast to Sorrento. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast on the terrace was enjoyable. The hotel facilities were great, with fine views of the bay and Mt. Vesuvius.

The adjacent terraces, filled with beautiful plants, create a serene atmosphere. the hotel is conveniently close to the city center, making it easy to explore in the evenings.

Some maintenance issues were noted by guests, such as loose electrical plugs and intermittent smells in the bathroom.

We were amazed by the fine views from our room and the hotel terrace. The beauty of the city and the port unfolded before our eyes, making our stay nice. The hotel's history as a former monastery was evident in the interesting hallways and the opportunity to visit some of the rooms. The cleanliness of the hotel was perfect, with everything being cleaned thoroughly each day. We felt safe and at ease with our belongings in the room. The front desk staff, particularly Enrico, were helpful and accommodating, providing us with excellent recommendations for restaurants and safe areas to explore. The hotel's outdoor area with beautiful flowers, a pool, and a wonderful view was a great place to relax and unwind. The shower in our room was unique and added an interesting touch to our stay. the hotel's food was perfect, satisfying our taste buds with every bite.

The hotel had a fabulous rooftop with stunning views of the city. The pool was a lot of fun for my kids. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant was beautiful.
